Shipping Policy

The Joy Land – Shipping Policy

At The Joy Land, we aim to deliver every order promptly and safely. Our delivery partners and in-house logistics team follow clear guidelines to ensure a smooth experience for all customers. Please review the shipping policy below before placing your order.

1. Free Delivery for Orders Above $100

Enjoy complimentary standard delivery when your order exceeds $100.
For orders below this amount, standard delivery fees will apply at checkout.

2. Delivery Coverage – SINGAPORE Only

Delivery is available within Singapore.
We currently do not offer international shipping. All deliveries are handled through our logistics network to ensure efficient and careful handling of items, especially bulky or fragile products.

3. Special Location Surcharge

A $20 surcharge applies for deliveries to locations requiring additional travel time, restricted access, or extra clearance procedures. These areas include:

  • Marina

  • Sentosa

  • Tuas

  • Changi

This surcharge applies even for orders that qualify for free delivery.

4. Access Conditions & Additional Handling Charges

To ensure safety and efficiency for our delivery team, the following access conditions apply:

4.1 Lift-Accessible Delivery

Standard delivery covers units that are lift-accessible and allow smooth trolley access from the vehicle to your unit or designated drop-off point.

4.2 Staircase Carrying Charges

If delivery requires items to be carried up or down staircases, a handling fee of $20 per level will be applied.

This applies under the following conditions:

  • The unit has no lift access
  • The lift is under servicing or temporarily unavailable
  • The staircase or corridor is too narrow for trolley access
  • The item cannot fit into the lift, based on the lift’s internal dimensions
  • Loft, mezzanine, or multi-level interior units requiring manual lifting

If the item does not fit into the lift due to its size or packaging dimensions, the delivery team must carry it manually by staircase, and the staircase fees will apply accordingly.

4.3 Long-Distance Trolley Push

If the delivery route from the parking/loading bay to your lift lobby or unit is significantly long, additional charges may apply.
Distance is measured from the delivery vehicle to the lift or loading bay entry point.
This surcharge covers extended manpower effort and time required to safely transport your items.

Our team will notify customers in advance if such additional handling charges are applicable.

5. Delivery Lead Time (2–4 Working Days)

Our standard delivery timeframe is 2–4 working days.

Please note:

  • Delays may occur during peak sales periods (festive seasons, major campaigns such as 11.11 / 12.12).
  • Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

We strive to process all orders promptly and will update customers if special circumstances arise.

6. Delivery Schedule & Time Slot Arrangement

Delivery schedules are arranged based on courier availability and route planning.

  • We are unable to commit to fixed delivery dates or exact time slots.
  • Delivery may take place anytime within the courier’s operating hours.
  • Notifications may be provided via SMS or call prior to arrival.

Requests for specific timings or special arrangements are subject to courier limitations and cannot be guaranteed.

7. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth delivery experience, please:

  • Provide an accurate and complete delivery address.
  • Ensure someone is available to receive the items.
  • Confirm that your building/unit is lift-accessible.
  • Verify that large or bulky items can fit through your lift, entrance, and corridors.
  • Keep delivery pathways clear and unobstructed.
  • If re-delivery is required due to inaccurate information, refused charges, or failed delivery attempts, additional fees may apply.

8. Additional Notes

  • All delivery fees, surcharges, and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
  • The Joy Land reserves the right to update or amend this policy to maintain service quality and operational safety.
